Hanoi Part 1
“It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop."
Confucius
Today we drove south to Hanoi stopping on the way at Hoa Binh to a museum dedicated to the Moung people. This was interesting to see a group of people following their traditional ways in a city that was very different. They have built a museum for items they have collected from remote areas and displaying them in traditional houses that are now surrounded by other cultures in the photo the pot everyone drinking out of bamboo straws to welcome you to the village is rice wine
Next was the Red river to the Hao Binh dam where did as small cruise the water levels were high but it was enjoyable the sky started to clear but the humidity was very very high and the heat haze thick.
Next was the drive into Hanoi as it was Sunday it would be slow as everyone returns to the city after a weekend in the country. It was amazing to see how hard everyone has worked to clear the streets after the typhoon in parts you could see trees were missing by the hole in the ground but that was all.
