Finally Day one of my northern Vietnam adventure

Still tired had to be ready to register at 10.30 so I repacked and rushed down great breakfast found the tour guide Mr Tifu (not Mr Tofu as I called him) only to be told we would not depart Hanoi today but would spend one more night at hotel we all would meet at 12.30 for lunch. Some people were still arriving on delayed planes and to government would not let us travel to Ha Long Bay. not much you can do but recheck-in to the same room.

Damag out side the hotel was to be expedited trees and car damaged. Nut 12 travellers when on the bus for lu ch and a chance to meet. Mostly Australians with Germans and British mixed age group. We set up to our lunch and coffee

We did go to another restaurant for dinner forgot to take photos was Vietnamese food (surprise)

Back to hotel told to be ready for a 9.00 denatured so we would be delayed one day but still not miss anything
